Testimonials
Ron – I really liked the Three Words exercise and found it very helpful. It gives you a quick reference point. Whenever you’re encountering something, or in the middle of making a decision, you can go back and remind yourself, am I on track or off track? Does this decision I’m about to make line up with my three words? If this course pushes your comfort zone, that’s probably a good thing, and you should take it!
Julia Being a leader doesn’t just happen. It was very important for me to realize that I had to take steps toward becoming a better leader….to grow in what I had been given. Taking the information and being able to apply it immediately in my situation was extremely helpful.
The sessions on Time Management were particularly helpful to me.
James -This course opened my eyes to new leadership concepts, communication skills, differing Leadership Styles, and how to interact with all that. It really got us thinking about our future, our business, and what we want it to look like. Two big takeaways for me were that you can’t really lead others well until you lead yourself well—also, the importance of clear, effective Communication.
Joey – I found myself in a position at work where I had high responsibility but no real authority. I work with many different teams, so Leading Through Influence, Decision Making, and Thinking Strategically were all highly relevant and applicable for me. I liked that there was a wide range of learning options available and that it was customized and adapted to exactly what I needed. Lorne provides a depth of knowledge and a wealth of experience with lots of real-life examples.
Miriam-I know the first time I heard about it, I felt compelled to learn more. I wanted to explore “what’s my leadership style? . How can I be a leader if I’m not the typical visionary, high-energy person? Is there a place for me to be a leader? “The topic that really stood out for me was the dynamics of Change Management. There was also the importance of Soft Skills in leadership. I hadn’t ever heard about that or learned about that anywhere else.
Sara – My pattern was to “run-‘til -I- burn-out,” so it was important for me to learn that I have to make room within my existing schedule if I’m going to tackle a new thing. That means figuring out priorities and saying no to other things. What I learned about Time Management and intelligent scheduling really influenced and changed my approach to life.

Executive Leadership has to start somewhere.
In the end Leadership is a blend of desire, skills, learning, competence, ability, training, personal growth and grit. Great leadership doesn’t “just happen’”
The LeaderLab Difference:
Leadership is both experimental and experiential. All sessions are online and interactive.
We focus on actual situations that you’re dealing with right now.
Why? Because great learning happens best when we’re struggling with something. When it’s personal.
